Lamentations 2:15

"All they that passed by the way have clapped their hands at thee: they have hissed, and wagged their heads at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying: Is this the city of perfect beauty, the joy of all the earth?"

Luke 23:35-37 & 39

"And the people stood beholding, and the rulers with them derided him, saying: He saved others, let him save himself, if he be Christ, the elect of God. And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, and saying: If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself."

"And one of those robbers who were hanged, blasphemed him, saying: If thou be Christ, save thyself and us."

Lamentations 3:27-30

"It is good for a man, when we hath borne the yoke from his youth. He shall sit solitary, and hold his peace, because he hath taken it up upon himself. He shall put his mouth in the dust, if so there may be hope. He shall give his cheek to him that striketh him, he shall be filled with reproaches."

John 18:22-23

"And when he had said these things, one of the servants standing by, gave Jesus a blow, saying: Answerest thou the high priest so? Jesus answered him: If I have spoken evil, give testimony of the evil; but if well, why strikest thou me?"
